Product Overview
ZOOMRY Fixed Radial Telescopic Stacking Conveyor is a heavy-duty, semi-permanent bulk material stacking system engineered for high-capacity, continuous stockpile operations in ports, large mines, cement plants, and industrial terminals. Built on a reinforced fixed base with a 360° radial slewing ring and a hydraulically adjustable telescopic boom, the equipment is designed to maximize yard utilization while maintaining material quality and minimizing operational costs.
Compared to mobile stackers, the fixed-base configuration provides superior stability under sustained heavy loads, making it particularly suitable for long-term, high-tonnage projects where reliability and low maintenance are critical.
How It Works
The system operates through a continuous material handling sequence:
- Material intake: Bulk material is fed via a hopper, apron feeder, or feeding conveyor onto the main belt, which transfers it to the telescopic section.
- Telescopic extension: The conveyor boom extends hydraulically (up to 58 metres) to reach across the stockpile without relocating the machine, reducing the need for auxiliary equipment.
- Radial slewing: The 360° slewing ring allows the stacker to rotate in a radial arc, creating layered, conical stockpiles with uniform particle distribution and minimal manual intervention.
- Inclination adjustment: The hydraulic lifting system adjusts the boom angle up to 20°, controlling stacking height and reducing material degradation and segregation.
- Remote and automated control: All functions—telescoping, slewing, inclination, and belt speed—are operated via wireless remote or optional PLC-based automation for consistent, repeatable stacking patterns.
Key Technical Advantages
- Material quality preservation: The layered stacking pattern (commonly referred to as the "Chevron" or "windrow" method) minimizes particle segregation, degradation, and contamination—factors critical for maintaining product specification in aggregates, coal, minerals, and grains.
- Increased stockpile capacity: Adjustable boom height and extension create higher stockpiles (up to 20 metres), increasing yard utilization by approximately 30% compared to conventional loader-based methods, without expanding the footprint.
- Automation ready: Optional PLC-based auto-stacking supports pre-programmed layering sequences, radar or laser volume monitoring, and integration with plant DCS or SCADA systems for centralized fleet management and data logging.
- Reduced spillage and dust: Controlled material flow and precise boom positioning minimize spillage and dust emissions. Optional dust suppression systems (galvanised or telescopic covers, extraction units, rubber "sock" chutes, and water spray) are available to meet strict environmental regulations.
- Lower operating costs: The fixed-base design eliminates the need for wheel loaders to build stockpiles, reducing labour requirements and fuel consumption. Maintenance costs are also lowered due to the robust construction and accessible service points.
Common Applications
- Ports and coal terminals: High-capacity stacking of coal, iron ore, and aggregates for export/import operations, with reduced dust and particle degradation.
- Mining and ore processing: Stockpiling copper, bauxite, and other ores with high throughput and minimal fines generation.
- Cement plants: Continuous stacking of limestone, clinker, and additives for kiln feed preparation.
- Quarry and aggregate production: Stacking crushed stone, sand, and gravel with controlled layering to maintain size consistency.
- Grain and agricultural terminals: Gentle handling of wheat, corn, and rice, with telescopic layering to prevent kernel damage and spoilage.

Structural Components
Front Wheel Walking Device (for relocation and positioning): Consists of walking frame, hydraulic motor, walking tires, chain and chain guard. Connected with the base through the pin. (Tire pressure: 11-12Mpa, max 12Mpa). In normal use, the hydraulic legs lift the front part of the base completely. After the tires leave the ground, remote control the front wheel walking device to the working position. After arriving, use tie rods on both sides to connect with pins, then retract hydraulic outriggers, allowing normal work or rotation. When leaving the site, lift cylinder outriggers again and remotely control the driving device.
Tail Wheel Rotating Device: Composed of tire, turntable, and bracket. The base and belt conveyor frame are installed on this bracket for 360° rotation, enabling the radial stacking function.
