1. Product Overview

ZOOMRY Explosion Proof motors are three-phase asynchronous motors engineered for belt conveyor drive systems in hazardous environments — primarily underground coal mining where methane atmospheres may be present. The flameproof enclosure design (Ex d) is certified for mining applications, with additional hazardous-area classifications subject to specific certification and model availability. Available with power ratings from 2.2kW to 315kW across frame sizes H100 to H355.

Housing material depends on frame size and project specification. The motors are rated for continuous-duty (S1) conveyor drive applications with Class F insulation. Exact certification marking, voltage configuration, mounting arrangement, and enclosure protection must be confirmed against the hazardous area classification and local requirements before quotation.


2. Where Explosion Proof Motors Are Required
