Product Overview
ZOOMRY Feed Conveyor systems are designed for efficient and controlled material feeding in mining, aggregate, and industrial applications. Portable, easy to set up, and transportable by road, they integrate seamlessly with hopper feeders and mobile stackers for complete stockpile and crusher feeding solutions. Available in four series — Series 12, 900, 1400, and 1900 — with capacities from 450 to 900 TPH and hopper capacities up to 20 cubic yards.
How It Works
Material is loaded into the feed hopper by truck, loader, or upstream conveyor. The scalping grizzly (optional) removes oversize material before it enters the belt feeder — protecting downstream Conveyor Pulleys and conveyor rollers from impact damage. The belt feeder then discharges at a controlled, measured rate onto the main belt conveyor, which transports material to crushers, screeners, or stockpiles. VSD (Variable Speed Drive) control allows operators to precisely match feed rate to downstream processing capacity.
Available Configurations
1. Portable Feed Conveyor
Road-transportable feed conveyors are easily set up on site with minimal preparation — no crane or specialized crew required. Available in numerous sizes and configurations to match site requirements. Ideal for temporary stockpiling, feeding crushers, and loading trucks with quick deployment and relocation. The wheeled chassis enables towing between work zones, making it the most flexible option for short- to medium-term projects in quarries and construction sites.
2. Hopper Feeders
Material is fed into hopper feeders, which discharge at a controlled, measured rate via belt or chain plate. An optional scalping grizzly removes oversize material before it enters the conveyor — critical for protecting downstream crushers and screens. Available in Heavy Duty (up to 3,000 TPH), Low Feed (rear loading, 1.2–1.5 m feed height), Tracked (crawler mobility), and Static (fixed installation) configurations to match any site condition.
3. Tunnel Feeding System
Prefabricated tunnel feeding systems are installed quickly, reducing on-site construction time by up to 60% compared to cast-in-place concrete tunnels. The sturdy steel structure prevents settlement or deformation, ensuring long-term reliability under heavy stockpile loads. Multiple feeder options — belt feeders, apron feeders, or vibrating feeders — suit applications in coal and cement stockpile reclaim tunnels.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between a feed conveyor and a standard belt conveyor?
A feed conveyor includes an integrated hopper and belt feeder designed for metered, controlled discharge — ideal for feeding crushers, screens, and other processing equipment at a consistent rate. A standard belt conveyor is optimized for continuous material transport over longer distances without the need for controlled feeding.
Q: When do I need a scalping grizzly on my feed conveyor?
A scalping grizzly is recommended when your material contains oversize particles that could damage downstream conveyor rollers, crushers, or screens. It removes material above a set size before it reaches the belt, reducing maintenance costs and unplanned downtime. Common in quarry and mining applications with blasted rock.
Q: Can feed conveyors handle wet or sticky material?
Yes. For wet or sticky materials like clay, damp coal, or mineral concentrates, we recommend a chain plate feeder instead of a belt feeder — the steel apron design resists material buildup and provides positive traction. UHMW liners on the hopper walls further reduce sticking. Discuss your material characteristics with our engineering team for the optimal configuration.
Q: How portable are ZOOMRY feed conveyors?
Series 12 and 900 feed conveyors are designed for road transport without special permits — they can be towed between sites using a standard truck. Setup takes less than 30 minutes on level ground with hydraulic outriggers for stabilization. Series 1400 includes an integrated belt conveyor section and requires slightly more setup time. For fixed installations, static hopper feeders offer a permanent solution.
